Terms of service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the website 3ayat.com and the 3ayat YouTube channel ("the service"), which 3 Ayat a Day ("we", "us") runs. When you use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
The service helps you memorise the Quran. It plays ayat with repeats, links and a seal step. It also gives a practice diary and daily reminder emails. The free practice page needs no account. The full service needs a paid subscription.
Your account
- You sign in with a link that we send to your email. Keep access to your email account safe.
- Give a correct email address. One account is for one person.
- You must be 18 or over to subscribe. A parent or guardian can subscribe for a child.
Subscription and payment
- The subscription costs £5 a month. There is no free trial.
- PayPal takes the payment each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in your PayPal account. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
- We do not give refunds for part of a month, except where the law tells us to.
- If we change the price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change.
- For questions about payment, email billing@3ayat.com.
Your right to cancel (UK consumers)
You can cancel in the first 14 days after you subscribe. When you subscribe, you ask us to start the service immediately. If you cancel in the 14 days, we can keep a fair amount for the days you used.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours;
- copy the service, or collect its data with automated tools;
- share your account or sell access to it;
- use the service in a way that breaks the law.
If you break these rules, we can stop your account.
Content
The Quran text, the translations, the word timings and the recitations come from the Quran.com API (Quran Foundation) and their owners. The design, the code and the videos of the service belong to us. You can watch and share our YouTube videos through YouTube. Do not upload them again as your own.
Accuracy
We take care to show the correct text and audio. But the service is a study aid. It does not replace a qualified teacher. If you find an error, please tell us.
Availability
We try to keep the service available at all times. But it can stop for maintenance or because of problems with our providers. We can change or stop parts of the service. If we stop the paid service, we stop taking payments.
Our liability
We are not liable for losses that you could not expect when you subscribed, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is not more than the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit. These terms do not change your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
Our privacy policy tells you how we use your personal data.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. We put the new date at the top. If a change is large, we send an email to subscribers before it starts.
Law
The law of England and Wales applies to these terms. The courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use your local courts.
